Ann Arbor is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Ann Arbor follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. What a great little gem. (Once I finally got there since Google Maps took me to the adjacent Cemetery) I had a wonderful time exploring the trails and even though it was a really hot day, there was a perfect breeze and many trails that go through wood so they're nicely shaded. There's plenty of little spots that you can take a rest and just enjoy the beauty as well as a little library.

For flower lovers, this place is heaven! I canβt express how beautiful it is. I was visiting the area and ended up coming back twice just to show my friends this hidden gem. The gardens are exceptionally well maintained. During my first visit, I saw some of the staff working in the gardens around 2 p.m., and I made a point of thanking them for the incredible job they do. I noticed several families and couples having professional photos taken, which speaks to how stunning the setting is. I spent plenty of time stopping to smell the peonies, and they definitely made me happier! A heartfelt thank you to the University of Michigan and to everyone who has donated and helped preserve this beautiful place since 1922. The only thing I would love to see added is a small, cozy gift shop or coffee shop where visitors could support the garden and take home a souvenir from their visit.

Really fantastic peony garden in May, world renowned honestly. Lots of trails that are tended. Good for dogs on leash. Benches and a wide green area for play, and blanket picnics. Shakespeare in the Arb is a really cool, strolling play to enjoy!

My friends and I had a great day at the Peony gardens in Ann Arbor. They are breathtaking. They also have a trail walk where you can walk down to the river. It's a challenge getting back up the hill, but if you take your time it's doable.

No charge to enter. The entrance is marked "Reader Center." Park in the hospital garage if no meters available. There are lots of benches and a couple portapotties at the garden. Peony garden is a doable area for those less ambulatory
